Vincent BASHAM

Vincent BASHAM
1956

Vincent Basham is a self-taught artist who specialises in seascapes. He was born in Maldon, Essex and educated at Thurstable School, Tiptree, where his love for painting first developed. He lived in Cornwall during his early twenties, where he gained his passion for painting seascapes. He moved back to Cornwall in 2017, and set up a purpose-built studio/gallery (open daily) adjacent to his home in Wadebridge, overlooking the river Camel. He can often be found walking the north Cornwall coastal paths. He has had six successful solo exhibitions in Padstow, and his work has also been shown in London, Essex, Norfolk and Devon.
